The 3-A SSI team had an incredible time at PACK EXPO in Las Vegas, connecting with the industry and promoting the power of hygienic design.
We saw fantastic engagement and achieved several successes:
Standing-Room-Only Session: Our educational session,"Before You Buy: What Specs Really Matter?" drew a massive, engaged crowd. 3-A SSI Executive Director Meri Beth Wojtaszek and Eric Schweitzer, Director, Standards and Certifications, gave equipment buyers essential insights to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
Symbol Holder Support: We actively supported our community by hand-delivering signs directly to 3-A Symbol and Certificate holder booths. This helped buyers easily spot conforming equipment and connect with manufacturers that have demonstrated a commitment to hygienic design.
Future Growth: We connected with a high number of visitors interested in becoming a Certified Conformance Evaluator (CCE), met with the next generation of industry leaders (students and professors), and saw a ton of innovation on the show floor.
EATS and IDFA DairyTech
At EATS, "we enjoyed meeting more symbol holders and spreading the word about the benefits of hygienic design for all food processing," says 3-A SSI Executive Director Meri Beth Wojtaszek.
"At IDFA DairyTech the conversations revolved around supply chain optimization and what the dairy plant of the future might look like, with emphasis on cybersecurity and other risk mitigation, reducing water usage and waste water management, as well as an increase in sensor and monitoring devices to optimize production and anticipate threats to the plant," she says.
